The Biggest Pillowfight EVER.

This morning I was supposed to go to Brighton but, in a fit of sleepiness, ended up sleeping in and staying in the city. Which turned out to be a blast because…

Today, April 6, is apparently International Pillowfight Day. Who makes this stuff up??? Anyway, due to the ‘holiday,’ thousands of people flocked to Trafalgar Square for, you know, a positively enormous pillowfight.

Thousands of people at the pillowfight.

I’m not kidding about the number of people! It was THE craziest thing. Amy, Jeff, SK, and I all went down there, but we weren’t expecting the sheer number of people! Or the level of craziness (some people were hitting really hard!). It was absolutely amazing, though. Everyone just seemed so happy, like we were all simultaneously having the greatest time.

Today was also the first beautiful day in AGES. I think we might even have hit 50 Fahrenheit! The sun was out and it didn’t rain, and it was just so nice!

Most epic picture of SK, ever.

  1. Amazing! What a fun idea. Maybe we would have fewer wars if world leaders got together for pillow fights when conflict occurs. Sounds like you enjoyed yourself. Pictures are great! Mr and Mrs. Ruth said hi today at sb game. They won7 to 4. Love you. Wanna skype ti’s afternoon before your trip?
